Mission: Provide laboratory support to public and private medical facilities through out the state and to units of Kansas government for the detection and identification of infectious bacterial, parasitic, ricketsial and viral diseases of public health interest. These services assist in the appropriate and timely medical treatment of Kansas residents and provide the state public health programs with disease incidence information to assist in their prevention and intervention efforts to reduce the transmission of infectious diseases within Kansas. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea NAAT	(Detection of urogenital infections among selected high risk public health patients)
Hepatitis Viral Serology	(Detection of hepatitis A IgM, hepatitis B s antigen and hepatitis C IgG in select high risk public health populations.)
Rubella Serology	(Determination of Rubella immune status in select populations)
Syphilis Serology	(Detection of new or chronic infections)
Vaccine-Preventable Disease Serology	(Detection of Mumps, Measles/Rubeola, and Varicella Zoster/Chicken Pox infections)
Viral Isolation	(Detection and identification of viral infections which have public health implications.)
