| Phillips County Clean Water Celebration |
The Phillips County Clean Water Celebration is a one-day education
event targeting livestock producers in Phillips County. Participating organizations
such as the NRCS, K-State specialists, and KDHE personnel will be presenting
information on innovative land practices designed to protect water quality.
Such practices to be discussed are energy-free waterers, pipelines for
alternative water sources, livestock fencing to limit creek access, and
rock channel crossings. |
| Phillips County Water Quality Information and Education Program |
This project facilitates an increase in information and education and
awareness program in Phillips County. Activities include producing presentation
and printed, radio and other materials for distribution to schools, religious
institutions, business community and recreational land managers. Media
will include radio, newspaper, existing community or organizational newsletters
etc. ` |
